Food Vendors
If you are interested in being considered as a food vendor for the BrewFest please send an email to food@novabrewfest.com . For this upcoming year we have all of the standard foods covered but if you happen to offer an item that is a novelty, or new and exciting, please let us know about it. In the email please provide your contact information, your food items, and a picture of your setup if possible.
Volunteers
The Northern Virginia BrewFest needs many volunteers to ensure the enjoyment for all who attend. The primary need is for volunteer beer pourers but there is also a need for support personnel at the gates. While we will certainly try to place you in your desired workstation we cannot make any guarantees, so please be flexible.
There will be two orientation sessions prior to the BrewFest. Attendance at one of these sessions is required for volunteers who have not worked at a Northern Virginia BrewFest (Summer or Fall) in the past twelve months. For all other volunteers it is a good refresher opportunity as well as an update about this year’s breweries and their beers.
The times and locations for these sessions will be provided upon signing up to volunteer. Final instructions and information is provided to all volunteers at a mandatory meeting on the day of the festival immediately prior to starting your shift.
The volunteer times are broken into two shifts per day and shift assignments are fulfilled on a first some, first served basis. In return for your efforts, each volunteer will receive: entry into the event, a BrewFest t-shirt, a souvenir sampling glass and 4 sampling tickets for tasting during your non-working time at the festival.
Volunteer applications will be available on or about September 20, 2010.
