What do I get with my Ticket

Each Adult Admission Ticket includes a commemorative Northern Virginia Summer BrewFest sampling glass and 4 beer sampling tickets. Additional beer sampling tickets can be purchased throughout the event for $1.00. Valid identification is required for admission and responsible drinking is expected. Admission tickets purchased through our website or at any of the five locations listed on this page are valid for one admission for one day. Admission tickets for the BrewFest purchased on the day of the event are priced as follows:
Adults (21+) – $30.00
Designated Drivers (16 – Adult) $20.00
Children under 16 accompanied by an adult – FREE

Tickets for the BrewFest purchased prior to the opening of the event are priced as follows:
Adults (21+) – $20.00
Designated Drivers – $15.00
Advanced tickets can be purchased online for a small convenience fee.

Hospitality Packages

Why isn’t this event unlimited tasting?
For many reasons but primarily because Virginia ABC laws do not allow for “all-you-can-drink” events.

Is my ticket good for both days?
No. Your ticket is good for one day only, however which day you choose to come is up to you. UNLESS you purchase a “special offer” one day only ticket!

Do I need an ID?
Yes. Valid identification is required for admission to the event.

Do you have a Designated Driver Ticket program?
Yes, the DD program is available for attendees 16 and older. Free water and soda is included in the price of this ticket.

How many drinks are included with the Designated Driver ticket? (really, it is asked at least once every festival!)
NO DRINKS are included with the Designated Driver ticket. Water and other non-alcoholic beverages are included in the price of the Designated Driver ticket.

How can I be a vendor?
Vendor applications are availble by mail, email, fax or download from the website. Click on the Vendors/Crafters & Volunteers section and look for the link to the Vendors/Crafters applications. If you have trouble, email your request to info@thehighroadinc.com or call 703-923-0800.

Can my band play at the BrewFest?
Maybe! Performer packets and submissions are accepted from January 15 through February 28 for the Summer Brewfest. Submit electronic materials to music@novabrewfest.com and non-electronic materials to Music Coordinator, The High Road, Inc., P. O. Box 2056, Springfield, VA 22152.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
No. Outside food and beverage will not be allowed into the event. After all, we are going to provide plenty of opportunities to try great food and drink while you’re here! NOTE: Bottled water and baby food are permitted.

Is Food and Drink included in my ticket price?
Yes and No! (Yes) Four (4) beer sampling tickets are included with the price of admission and additional samping tickets are available for $1.00. (No)Food is purchased separately from our variety of vendors. Food prices typically range from about $4-$9 depending on the item purchased.

Do you accept credit card payments at the gate for admission to the festival?
Yes. We accept Mastercard and Visa.

Will there be an ATM on-site?
Yes. There will be at least one ATM on-site. It is located in the area convenient to the food booths and beer sampling tents.

Can I bring my children?
Definitely. We have a Family Fun Area dedicated to children including moon bounces, facepainting, airbrush tattoos  and more.  Children 15 and under accompanied by an adult are FREE.

How much are children’s tickets?
Children under the age of 16 are free of charge, and most of the activities in the Family Fun area are also free. No ticket is required for children to enter the event.

Can I bring my pet?
No, we do not allow pets except for assistance animals.

Can I leave my car overnight?
Yes, if you need to leave your car overnight it is okay. Better safe then sorry!

Will there be Taxicabs available after the event?
We have alerted the local cab companies that our event is taking place and they will be on hand as available. If a cab is not immediately available we will assist you in securing a cab.

Can I reserve seats for any of the shows?
No, all of our entertainment is included with your entry fee and therefore reserved seats are not available. Seats for the shows are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Can I bring my own chairs, blankets, etc?
Yes, please feel free to bring beach chairs, blankets, and the like to set up and enjoy the bands. Please don’t bring coolers though. Also, please be considerate of other festival goers when setting up – especially a tent.

How do I get a press pass?
Working media will be admitted by presenting proper credentials at the Box Office. Media admission will not include beer tickets.

Can I volunteer at the BrewFest?
ABSOLUTELY! Interested volunteers can submit a simple application to work at the BrewFest. Volunteers will receive tickets for entry and t-shirts.  For Volunteer information click here

Can I get paid to work at the BrewFest?
A limited number of paid opportunities may be available for work during the week leading up to the BrewFest, during the event itself, and/or following the event. Please contact us if you are interested.

Are discounted group tickets available?
Yes, discounted group tickets are available for groups of 20 or more and must be purchased at one time to qualify for Group Rate. Groups receive a 10% discount off the Advance Ticket Price.

Plenty of parking is available free of charge at the park.

Buses

Bus shuttles will be run continuously between Vintage 50 Restaurant & Brew Lounge and Morven Park.

There will be bus trips from at least one Northern Virginia location. Details will be announced in Spring 2012

The Northern Virginia Summer BrewFest will be held at Morven Park just north of Leesburg on Route 15 at Tutt Lane. The exact address is 41793 Tutt Lane, Leesburg, VA, 20176.

What is a Nova BrewFest?

Our Summer BrewFest is a craft beer festival, providing a great opportunity to try beers from different microbreweries from around the United States. Adult admission is for those 21 years of age and older. Prior to admission, you must present a valid identification documenting that you are at least 21 years of age.

Included in the price of adult admission you will receive a sampling glass (4.75 oz) and 4 beer sampling tickets. You can use those tickets to purchase beers at the price of 1-2 tickets per beer, depending on how expensive your tastes are. Additional tickets can be purchased for $1 a piece. We encourage you to sample different beers and enjoy all of the tasty libations, but be careful because some of these are much stronger then what you’re used to drinking!  And yes, we have wine too! The Lone Winery will be a local winery offering several varieties for purchase by the glass!

Participants are expected to drink responsibly.

From the Washington Beltway (I-495)
Take the Dulles Toll road (Rt 267) west. At exit 9, Rt 28 (Sully Rd) turn right and go north to Rt 7. Exit west to Leesburg on Rt 7, go to the Leesburg By-Pass (Rt 15.) Go North on Rt 15 By-Pass to just beyond the turnback to Business 15. Turn left on Tutt Lane (Rt 740) continue 1/2 mile to the Morven Park entrance on the left.

Option from I-495
Take the Dulles Greenway from the Dulles Toll Road (direct) to Rt 15 By-Pass north at Leesburg. Go north on By-Pass and go North on Rt 15 By-Pass to just beyond the turnback to Business 15. Turn left on Tutt Lane (Rt 740) continue 1/2 mile to the Morven Park entrance on the left.

From Points West
Take Rt 7 east to the Leesburg By-Pass (Rt 15) north or take I-66 east or Rt 50 east to Rt 15 north. At Leesburg take By-Pass north and go North on Rt 15 By-Pass to just beyond the turnback to Business 15. Turn left on Tutt Lane (Rt 740) continue 1/2 mile to the Morven Park entrance on the left.

From Points North
Take Rt 15 South. Just north of the Rt 15 Business and By-Pass split turn right onto Tutt Lane (Rt 740) continue 1/2 mile to the Morven Park entrance on the left.

From Points South
From Warrenton take Rt 29 to Rt 15. Turn left onto Rt 15 north. From Manassas take Rt 234 northwest to Rt 15. Turn right on Rt 15 north continue to Leesburg. Turn right onto Rt 15 By-Pass, head north and go North on Rt 15 By-Pass to just beyond the turnback to Business 15. Turn left on Tutt Lane (Rt 740) continue 1/2 mile to the Morven Park entrance on the left.

The Northern Virginia Summer BrewFest provides an excellent opportunity for local and regional businesses to market, sell and/or showcase their product or service. 

NOTE: Applications are reviewed as they are received. Decisions are usually made within 5-10 days. There is a finite number of spaces to be filled; usually between 50-55 depending on the number of multiple space participants and those spaces may be filled before the application deadline.
